First Monday off Twitter

A few days ago, the new owner of Twitter reinstated the lead insurrectionist of Jan 6 after a simple majority poll on Twitter. I find this action intolerable, so after more than a decade of tweeting, I left.

Over the weekend, my reflexes kept trying to drag me back despite having removed the app from my phone. I craved seeing what was going on with all the folks I followed. (I spent a lot of time curating that experience for myself.)

Today is the first big test. My daily habits include going through Twitter and contributing my thoughts to the community.

Will my voice matter if I'm not there?
